A lovely evening with friends, old and new.

Cadair Idris conquered again.

Spent a fabulous four days in Snowdonia. Lots of laughs, walking and wine.  Conquered Cadair Idris again, but this time we arrived at the summit in low cloud and a howling gale. You gotta love the hills when you've got the correct gear on and in lovely company.  Visited the legendary Blue Lake and yes the water is really that blue and crystal clean (you are able to see metres down into the clear aegean blue). We met up with Jess and Steve for a blast up the local hill before they headed home.

After a relaxing Saturday doing a bit of shopping and going to the cinema to see 'London has fallen' (which is a bit of a modern day Die Hard - great fun), on Sunday I joined the boys for a lovely ride out over Leckhampton.  Luke testing out his new steed!   Followed by a steak and chips meal out with my boy.

A long weekend in Torquay

Spent a fabulous four days in Torquay.  A chill was in the air, but the clear blue sky allowed the warming sun to take the edge off the cold.  Lovely walks around the headlands and beaches - skimming stones on the sea and sitting on the rocks to spend time listening and sketching - breaking the days up with tea and cake or refreshing G & T's

Visited Brixham, a bustling fishing harbour - ate chips whilst sitting on the harbour wall, strolled along the WW2 break water and watched the trawlers come in as the sun set over the town.

On the way back, took a detour over Dartmoor and scrambled up Hound Tor, where the wind howled and did its best to blow us off the top.

Weekend away

A fabulous weekend of peace and growth at Hebron Hall in Dinas Powys with a group of truly lovely people.  We shared a lot of fun together and at times our pain with each each other.  A God filled weekend - we're all on a journey.  I also savoured the delights of Dinas Powys Kebab shop, a legendary kebab - mind you I'd never had a kebab before, so it's a first for me.
